Green smoothies are now consumed by half the world’s population, but red smoothies … ! And no, they do not necessarily have to consist of strawberries or other red fruits.



Behold, you just get some red beetroot and huppa, the most intense red (pink?) Smoothie all-time!

For whom this sounds uncomfortable … try it out. Most of the people (I used to be) looked strange at the combination of spinach and fruit, but that seems to be positive. I do not see why it would be different this time. The fruit dominates the taste, but you enjoy an extraordinary addition to nutritional value. We have a winner here !!!

Of course, you can also make a complete vegetable mix and leave the fruit out. You can use fresh celery, cucumber or tomato and taste with ginger, cinnamon and maybe some celery salt. However, I prefer this sweeter variant. Definitely like breakfast.

Whoever has a juice centrifuge can praise happily! Otherwise, you can of course also buy a bottle of pure red beet juice. And you can experiment a lot! For a smoother smoothie, you can add rice or almond milk instead of orange juice.
