Iced coffee – vegan and suger free recipe

Updatet on:

This morning I had made too much coffee and then suddenly I thought, “I’ll make iced coffee out of it!”. It has been around 783 degrees (approximate ;-)) for weeks, so a refreshing coffee would taste good.

At the supermarket, you can also buy vegan iced coffee, but I personally find it too sweet. That is why I wanted to make a somewhat more moderate version. For example, the banana in the recipe is already sweet enough for me. If you like your iced coffee sweeter, you can, of course, add maple syrup or another natural sweetener yourself.

Of course, that banana also has a specific taste. If you prefer a purer (iced) coffee flavor, you can leave out the banana and sweet the coffee to taste.

We always have frozen slices of banana in the freezer. As soon as a banana is too ripe to eat from the fist, we cut it into slices and put it – in portions – in the freezer. Handy to have at home for making a cool smoothie, fast banana ice, or in this iced coffee. The advantage of that frozen banana is that your iced coffee is immediately cool enough.

You can immediately enjoy 🙂
